Novant Novant Health, a Charlotte, North Carolina based non-for-profit healthcare organization, offers MyChart as an online health management tool. Patients can access a range of healthcare services and their personal health information securely online with MyChart.
To access parts of their health information electronically, anyone who is at least 13 years old can create a Novant Health account. Patients may effortlessly contact with their healthcare professionals and manage their medical treatment more effectively with MyChart.
Username and Password Requirements For An Account
Your user name must:
- Be between five and 24 characters.
- Contain only letters and numbers (no symbols).
Your password must:
- Be at least 10 characters.
- Contain at least one uppercase letter.
- Contain one lowercase letter.
- Contain one number or symbol.
- Be different than your username.
How To Create A Novant MyChart Account
To access MyChart and create an account with Novant Health, take the following actions:
Step 1: Sign Up Online: Go to https://www.novantmychart.org/Mychart/Authentication/Login? and select “Sign Up” to activate your account online.
In the designated field, enter the activation code you obtained from your healthcare provider or during a recent visit. In order to connect your data to your MyChart account, Novant Health will often provide you with an activation code.
In the event that you do not currently have an activation code, you can obtain one by contacting Novant Health customer care by phone or by selecting the “Sign Up Online” option.
To confirm your identification, a few personal details will be required. Name, birthdate, and the final four digits of your Social Security number are usually included in this.
Pick a strong password and a unique username for your MyChart account. Ensure that your password complies with the security requirements, which include using a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.
In scenario in which you forget your password or need to retrieve your account, choose and respond to security questions that will be used to confirm your identity.
Once all the necessary information has been entered, check your information and click “Submit” or “Finish” to complete the registration process.
After creating your account, use your new username and password to login and access Novant MyChart and begin the management of your online patient portal.
Step 2: In person: When you visit a clinic or hospital next, ask to be signed up by a representative.
Step 3: By Mail or Fax (for proxy access only): Fill out the adult or child proxy form to seek access to a child’s or another adult’s health record.
